PRINCE2

PRINCE2 is the structured project management method from the Office of Government Commerce (OGC) that has become the UK’s de facto standard for organising, managing and controlling projects. It is a generic, best-practice approach for the management of all types of projects. Widely used in both public and private sectors, its reputation as a highly effective, process-based approach to structuring and organising project delivery has now spread to countries around the world such as the Netherlands, Italy, Australia, Japan and many more.

We recommend all our consultants become Practitioner Qualified. It consists of a 5 day course which is split into 2 stages, the Foundation Course (first 3 days), and the Practitioner Course (2 days). Through our PRINCE2 training provider, we recommend a weeks break between the stages, the first 3 days, Friday/Saturday/Sunday, then the following Saturday/Sunday. At the end of the first stage there is a multi-choice exam, and at the end of the second stage a 3 hour open book, case-study type exam. There is approximately 30hours of pre-read necessary.
