Before any activities are commenced they must align to the companies Strategic Initiatives, which support the Strategic Imperatives to ultimately meet the companies Growth Goal. To measure the success of this planning, all parts of a project must have objectives where the success (or otherwise) can be measured and monitored. Without this careful planning projects are delivered that do not actually meeting the company’s long term goals.
